On Friday 7 February 2020 Euroz held its second annual ‘Commission for a Cause’ event. Commission for a Cause sees 100% of all brokerage generated on a day donated equally to three Australian charities.
This year the event successfully raised $225,000 (exceeding last year’s total of $195,881) which enabled Euroz to provide $75,000 directly to each of the three beneficiaries, Perth Children’s Hospital Foundation, Street Connect and Minderoo Foundation Fire Fund.
- Perth Children’s Hospital Foundation The funds raised from this year’s Commission for a Cause will be used to support future medical research into the importance of early intervention to prevent respiratory illness in children.
- Street Connect The funds from Commission for a Cause will go towards replacing the aging Street Connect bus which is central to the operation of their program. The 20-year-old bus provides a mobile base from which to offer face-to-face support, crisis intervention and case management to people experiencing homelessness.
- Minderoo Foundation – Fire Fund The funds raised through Commission for a Cause will be used to support clean-up and recovery efforts across the country after the devastating bushfires.
